The New GrooveKart Domain Management and SRV Records

GrooveKart Update 30 Oct 2021 - Domain Management + SRV Records


We don't manage our domain from here anymore, in the GrooveKart interface.

The latest update has merged the custom domain with the GrooveKart domains in the actual domain management along with all of the other apps. So now as you can see the GrooveKart store is showing up there at the end. As you can see below.


If you would like to connect your customdomain.com or anything that you have actually connected to Groove, you can also select if you want to open GrooveKart through a root domain or you want to create a subdomain and then open GrooveKart through a subdomain.


Once you set your new custom subdomain, you can go back to your GrooveKart and find your subdomain is available and it will show up as below.


Once you click "Link," a message box will pop up in the top right corner to confirm your sub-domain is attached to your current store. The picture is shown below.


Now you can go to your newly set subdomain and your GrooveKart store will open up. So this is how easy it is to manage your domains right now for GrooveKart.


Please take note that SRV is added on the DNS record to manage the actual store, which is needed to handle the GrooveKart mail. It's part of the process.


Conclusion


So now you manage all your custom domains in one single place.

Profile > My Accounts > Domains Tab > Custom Domains

And you can set your SRT over there too.
